Islamabad: Pakistan has called on all parties to exercise restraint and allow diplomacy to continue after a fresh round of hostilities between the United States and Iran raised concerns about regional stability. The appeal came as renewed military actions threatened ongoing efforts aimed at achieving a peaceful resolution to tensions in the Middle East.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the importance of dialogue and diplomacy, warning that the recent escalation highlighted the fragile nature of existing ceasefire arrangements and the potentially devastating consequences of further conflict. He urged all sides to avoid actions that could undermine ongoing peace efforts.

According to officials, Pakistan continues to support diplomatic initiatives and remains engaged with regional and international partners seeking a negotiated settlement. The government has stressed that peaceful engagement remains the most effective path toward lasting stability in the region.

The latest tensions have sparked concerns about wider security implications, economic uncertainty, and the future of ongoing diplomatic initiatives. Observers warn that further escalation could complicate efforts to reduce tensions and restore confidence among regional stakeholders.

Pakistan has reiterated its commitment to promoting peace and has called on all parties to prioritize dialogue over confrontation as diplomatic efforts continue.
