Quetta: Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has said that the development journey of Balochistan is now irreversible, emphasizing that the provincial government is committed to accelerating progress in infrastructure, education, healthcare, and economic development.
Speaking at a public event, Bugti stated that ongoing development projects across the province are aimed at improving the quality of life for residents and reducing long-standing disparities in access to public services. He said the government is focused on ensuring that the benefits of development reach even the most remote areas of Balochistan.
The chief minister highlighted investments in roads, schools, hospitals, and water supply schemes, describing them as essential components of the province’s long-term growth strategy. He also stressed the importance of maintaining peace and stability to attract investment and create employment opportunities for local communities.
Bugti noted that the provincial administration is working closely with federal authorities and development partners to implement projects that can unlock Balochistan’s economic potential. He expressed confidence that continued efforts would transform the province into a key driver of national growth.
Political observers say the remarks come as the government seeks to showcase progress on development initiatives while addressing socio-economic challenges in Pakistan’s largest province by area.
