The World Health Organization (WHO) has delivered a large consignment of medicines to Pakistan.
According to a WHO spokesperson, medicines have been provided for 380,000 people and will be distributed during emergency situations in the monsoon season.
Nine trucks carrying medicines have been dispatched to different areas, and the supplies will be provided to flood-affected regions.
According to the WHO spokesperson, Pakistan has been provided with antibiotics, painkillers, and IV fluid bottles. Medicines for blood pressure and allergies have also been supplied for the monsoon season.
The World Health Organization stated that infection prevention and control (IPC) kits have also been provided, along with diagnostic kits for malaria, dengue, and waterborne diseases.
