The Punjab government has launched a three-month internship programme under the Punjab Workers Welfare Department (PWDP) to provide students with practical work experience and professional training opportunities.
The programme aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and workplace requirements by allowing students to gain hands-on experience in a professional environment. Participants will be exposed to various administrative and operational functions, helping them develop valuable skills for future careers.
Officials said the initiative reflects the government’s commitment to youth empowerment and workforce development. Students from eligible institutions have been encouraged to apply through the prescribed channels.
