On the instructions of Minister of State for Health Dr. Mukhtar Bharath, the Ministry of Health has issued an official directive to relevant departments to prevent the possible spread of the dengue virus.
According to the spokesperson for the Ministry of Health, Dr. Mukhtar Bharath has directed all concerned stakeholders to ensure prompt and effective measures against dengue. The directive instructs District Health Officers (DHOs), Capital Development Authority (CDA), and Deputy Commissioners to submit detailed micro plans and surveillance schedules without delay.
The letter emphasizes the need for proactive measures including fogging, sanitation, and monitoring activities, particularly in Islamabad and Rawalpindi. Additionally, the public has been advised to strictly follow precautionary measures to ensure effective control of the dengue outbreak.
