The post-mortem report for Mir Raza has confirmed multiple blunt force injuries, fueling mounting public pressure for a transparent investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death. Forensic examiners identified several contusions and internal hemorrhages, suggesting a physical struggle took place before he succumbed to his injuries.

The findings, submitted to the local police department late Tuesday, contradict earlier informal claims that suggested natural causes. Investigators are now shifting their focus toward potential foul play, with the victim’s family consistently alleging that Raza was targeted due to his recent involvement in local advocacy work.

“We aren’t surprised by the report,” a spokesperson for the family said shortly after the findings were leaked. “The bruises were visible to anyone who saw him. We just want to know who is responsible and why the police waited this long to acknowledge the obvious.”

The medical board responsible for the autopsy remained tight-lipped regarding the specific timeline of the injuries, citing the ongoing criminal probe. However, sources close to the investigation confirmed that toxicology results are still pending, which will determine if any substances were administered to incapacitate Raza prior to the physical assault.

Local authorities have since opened a formal inquiry, though no arrests have been made. The case has become a flashpoint for community activists, who gathered outside the district police station Wednesday morning, demanding that the investigation be handed over to a specialized unit.

Police Chief Aslam Khan told reporters during a brief, tense exchange that the department is “following the evidence wherever it leads.” He declined to comment on whether any suspects have been identified or if CCTV footage from the surrounding area has yielded any leads.

As the family prepares for funeral rites, the medical report serves as the first hard piece of evidence in a case that has been defined by silence and speculation. The investigation now hinges on the upcoming toxicology report, which could turn a suspicious death into a full-scale homicide trial.
