A woman faced a violent mob assault in Karachi’s Orangi Town area on Tuesday after witnesses claimed she abandoned a newborn infant in a garbage heap.
The incident unfolded in the Mominabad neighborhood. Locals discovered the infant crying amidst the trash and quickly identified the woman nearby. Within minutes, a crowd gathered. The situation spiraled as residents took the law into their own hands, surrounding the woman and physically assaulting her before police arrived at the scene.
