A new wave of bomb threats has disrupted passenger flights across Europe, forcing aircraft to divert, make precautionary landings and undergo extensive security checks.
On Thursday, November 5, an Aer Lingus flight travelling from Dublin to Rome was diverted to a French airbase after a bomb alert.
Other flights operated by Finnair, LOT Polish Airlines and Wizz Air also faced security alerts and precautionary measures.
In the Czech Republic, authorities reported threats involving four flights heading to Prague.
Airports and security agencies have carried out inspections, while passengers and crew were moved to safety.
According to Reuters, no bomb threats have so far been confirmed as genuine in this latest wave.
Authorities are investigating the incidents as concerns grow over repeated disruptions to European air travel.
