Karachi – In a series of targeted operations, District City Police arrested 10 individuals involved in the supply of gutka and maawa from various areas of Karachi. Authorities recovered a total of 21 kilograms of the illegal substances during the raids.
According to police
officials, the suspects were apprehended from the jurisdictions of Eidgah, Kalakot, Chakiwara, Baghdadi, and Napier police stations.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Khaleel Ahmed, Ayaz, Mehrab alias Steel Maawa, Kashif, Shahid, Muhammad Javed, Muhammad Siddiq, Muhammad Bilal, Muhammad Sohail, and Abu Bakar.
All suspects were taken into custody during separate targeted operations carried out by local law enforcement.
Cases have been registered against the accused at the respective police stations, and they are being handed over to the investigation authorities for further legal proceedings
