Karachi – In a major breakthrough, the South District Police Station successfully apprehended members of a criminal group operating under the guise of rickshaw drivers. The operation was conducted by SHO Sadar and the In-Charge of Jinnah Hospital Checkpost, along with a dedicated police team.
The arrested suspects were reportedly involved in robbing citizens by pretending to offer them rides in their rickshaws. Once the victims boarded, the suspects would loot them of cash and mobile phones before fleeing the scene.
Initial investigations revealed that the accused are habitual offenders, with multiple cases already registered against them in different police stations.
The arrested suspects have been identified as:

Shaukat Ali, son of Haji Allah Din

Tudeel, son of Dil Murad

Sonaro Khan, son of Ghulam Hussain
A First Information Report (FIR No. 136/2025) has been registered against them under Sections 379 and 34 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) at the Sadar Police Station.
Further legal proceedings are underway as investigations continue.
