Pakistan’s education fund, in collaboration with Bahria University, recently distributed scholarships to those pursuing careers in Tourism and Hospitality Management at Hashoo School of Hospitality Management, to promote the tourism sector.

On April 24, 2025, the ceremony was precious thanks to the presence of Minister of State for Education & Professional Training Wajiha Qamar, Parliamentary Secretary for Defence Zeb Jaffar, Hashoo Group CEO Bastien Blanc and COO of the Hashoo Hospitality & Education Division Haseeb A. Gardezi.

Minister Qamar stated that education plays a key role in developing a just and progressing society, as the government believes in providing it to all.

She pointed out that PEEF aims to help talented students from underserved regions by providing them with full scholarships to support their education.

Mr. Gardezi was very optimistic about the move, noting the increasing need for skilled professionals in hospitals in Pakistan and repeating the industry’s promise to guide the coming generation.

The celebration ended as scholarships were given to students who will begin their careers in tourism and hospitality.

Skilled professionals to lead Pakistan’s tourism and hospitality industry are produced by HSHM which has campuses in Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore and Peshawar.
