Karachi: Aligarh Institute of Technology (AIT) held its fifth convocation with grandeur and dignity, awarding diplomas to more than 500 male and female students from eight academic departments. Federal Minister for Education Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui attended the ceremony as the Chief Guest, while Chairman Sindh Board of Technical Education Musharraf Ali Rajput was the Guest of Honor. Outstanding students securing first, second and third positions were honored with gold, silver and bronze medals.
Addressing the convocation, Federal Minister Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said that the future of Pakistan lies in the hands of educated and skilled youth. He emphasized that education, modern knowledge and unity are essential for national progress and urged students to play their role in rebuilding the country.
Guest of Honor Musharraf Ali Rajput highlighted the growing importance of technical education and congratulated AIT for consistently securing top positions at the provincial level. Chairman Governing Body AIT and Chancellor Sir Syed University, Muhammad Akbar Ali Khan, said that Pakistan’s development is closely linked with the promotion of technical education and encouraged students to enhance their professional skills to meet future challenges.
