MIRPUR, Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK): The first phase of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Legislative Assembly elections is set to take place in Mirpur Division, where the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) are expected to engage in closely watched contests across all 13 constituencies.
More than 1.4 million registered voters are eligible to cast their ballots in the division, which includes four constituencies in Mirpur, six in Kotli, and three in Bhimber.
