Alibaba Group has introduced new artificial intelligence (AI)-powered support tools to help small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Pakistan improve their digital business operations and expand their access to global markets.

The initiative is designed to assist Pakistani businesses with smarter product listings, automated customer engagement, translation services, and data-driven market insights. Alibaba said the AI tools would help SMEs enhance efficiency, reduce operational costs, and strengthen their presence in international e-commerce.

Company officials stated that Pakistani exporters, manufacturers, and online sellers are expected to benefit from AI-based solutions that simplify cross-border trade and improve communication with international buyers.

Experts believe the move could support Pakistan’s growing digital economy and provide local entrepreneurs with better opportunities to compete in the global online marketplace. The announcement also highlights increasing interest by international tech companies in Pakistan’s expanding e-commerce sector.
