Police in Alipur have arrested a suspect allegedly involved in sexually assaulting a private school teacher and circulating her video on social media.
According to police, the case was registered on the complaint of the affected woman. Investigations revealed that the accused had been subjecting the victim to repeated harassment and allegedly committed the assault. When the woman refused to maintain illicit relations, the suspect reportedly shared obscene videos on social media in an attempt to defame and pressure her.
Following the victim’s application, police registered a case under relevant laws and conducted a successful operation, leading to the arrest of the accused. Further investigation into the matter is currently underway.
