Another case of Congo virus has been reported in Karachi.
A 22 year old man from Quetta tested positive for the virus following laboratory testing, after which he was shifted to the Sindh Infectious Diseases Hospital for further treatment.
According to officials, the patient was brought to the hospital with symptoms of high fever and nosebleeding. Initial medical examination revealed a significant drop in platelet and hemoglobin levels, while liver enzyme levels were found to be higher than normal.
