‎A special anti polio campaign is continuing for the fifth consecutive day in 79 selected districts across the country, while more than 17.4 million children have been administered polio drops during the first four days of the campaign.

‎The campaign, which began on May 18, will continue until May 24, with a target of vaccinating approximately 19 million children during this period.

‎Across the country, 163,000 polio workers are going door to door as part of the mission to protect children from disability. So far, approximately 5.536 million children in Punjab, 5.651 million in Sindh, 4.084 million in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 1.763 million in Balochistan, and around 435,000 children in Islamabad have been given polio drops.

‎The National EOC has appealed to parents to open their doors to vaccination teams and ensure that every child under the age of five receives polio drops during this and all future anti polio campaigns.
