A seven-day anti-polio campaign will begin tomorrow across 26 districts of Balochistan, targeting 2 million children under the age of five.

According to Chief Secretary Balochistan Shakeel Qadir, no polio case has been reported in the province over the past 10 months, and virus levels in sewage have also declined.

The campaign was formally launched at the office of Assistant Commissioner Saryab in Quetta, where MPA Ali Madad Jatak administered drops to children.

The Polio Emergency Center said efforts are underway to resolve around 3,000 refusal cases across the province.
