Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari inaugurated the modern new OPD block at the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases Karachi. The new OPD block has been constructed keeping in view the rapidly increasing patient load at NICVD Karachi.
The number of patients has exceeded 1.4 million annually. This facility, spread over 59,000 square feet, consists of three floors (lower ground, ground and first floor) and has the capacity to provide medical services to approximately 2,500 patients daily.
This project was completed at a cost of 1.2 billion rupees, with generous support from the Patients Aid Foundation, while Hilton Pharmaceuticals also contributed to the project.
