MUMBAI: Veteran Bollywood actor Govinda was rushed to the hospital late Tuesday night after he suddenly fell unconscious at his Mumbai residence.
According to Indian media reports, the actor experienced dizziness and fainted, prompting his family to immediately take him to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
Govinda’s close friend and legal advisor, Lalit Bandal, stated that doctors were initially consulted at home and prescribed medication, but his condition did not improve, leading to his emergency admission around 1 a.m.
Bandal added that Govinda is currently under medical observation, and several tests have been conducted, with results awaited.
The actor’s family has not yet issued an official statement; however, sources confirm that Govinda’s condition is now stable.
Notably, this incident occurred just days after Govinda had visited veteran actor Dharmendra, who is undergoing treatment at Breach Candy Hospital.
