CM Murad Shah Pledges Immediate Action on Investors’ Concerns

Karachi: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has assured the business community that the provincial government will take immediate steps to address the concerns raised by investors, reaffirming its commitment to creating a business-friendly environment and promoting economic growth.

Speaking during a meeting with members of the business and investment community, the chief minister said the government recognizes the key role of investors in strengthening the provincial economy and generating employment opportunities. He assured participants that all genuine issues affecting investment and industrial growth would be resolved on a priority basis.

Murad Shah directed the relevant government departments to work closely with investors and remove administrative hurdles that delay projects. He emphasized that improving the ease of doing business remains one of the Sindh government’s top priorities and that practical measures would be taken to facilitate both local and foreign investors.

During the meeting, representatives of the business community highlighted several issues, including delays in approvals, infrastructure challenges, utility services, and regulatory bottlenecks. The chief minister assured them that these concerns would be reviewed immediately and resolved through coordination among the concerned departments.

Murad Shah also stressed the importance of public-private partnerships in accelerating economic development. He said the provincial government is committed to ensuring transparency, policy consistency, and investor confidence, adding that sustainable investment is essential for industrial expansion and job creation.

The chief minister reiterated that Sindh remains one of Pakistan’s leading economic hubs and that the government will continue introducing reforms aimed at attracting new investment. He pledged to maintain regular engagement with the business community to ensure their concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.

Business leaders welcomed the chief minister’s assurances and expressed hope that the promised measures would improve the investment climate and encourage greater economic activity across the province.
