WASHINGTON – June 24, 2025: Former U.S. President Donald Trump declared “Congratulations, world — it’s time for peace” in a social media post on Monday, signaling what he called a turning point in the Gulf crisis following limited Iranian retaliation and the absence of American casualties.

The message, shared on Truth Social, comes after days of high-stakes confrontation between the U.S. and Iran, which many feared could spiral into all-out war. Trump credited strong deterrence and diplomatic coordination for what he described as “a peaceful outcome, despite extreme provocation.”

Analysts remain cautious, warning that while immediate hostilities may have paused, deeper regional tensions are far from resolved.
