Continuous Increase in Dengue Cases Reported in Rawalpindi

In Rawalpindi, 19 new dengue cases have been reported in the last 24 hours.

‎According to details, the total number of dengue patients this season has reached 1,196. More than 40 patients are currently under treatment in different hospitals, while the anti dengue campaign continues in affected areas.

‎A total of 18,783 dengue tests have been conducted in Rawalpindi, and the same number of individuals have been screened during the current season.

‎According to the Health Department, no deaths from dengue have been reported so far in Rawalpindi. This year, more than 5.9 million buildings have been inspected, and dengue larvae were found in over 190,000 houses.

‎Approximately 26,083 locations have been declared hotspots, and 4,641 cases have been registered for violations of dengue SOPs.

‎Additionally, 1,885 locations have been sealed for non compliance with dengue SOPs, and fines exceeding Rs. 11.13 million have been imposed for violations.
