Dangerous Surge in Dengue Cases Across Punjab, Alarming Situation in Lahore

The breeding of dengue mosquitoes is rapidly increasing across Punjab, leading to a continuous rise in dengue cases.

‎According to the Health Department, 46 confirmed cases of dengue have been reported across the province during the past 24 hours.

‎In Lahore, 11 new dengue patients were recorded in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the city this year to 182. Meanwhile, the total number of confirmed dengue patients in Punjab has reached 1,134.

‎Health Department sources stated that the number of suspected dengue patients in Lahore is also rising rapidly, causing concern among authorities, as a dangerous increase in dengue cases has been recorded in the city this year.

‎Health experts have advised citizens to ensure cleanliness in their homes and surrounding areas, prevent water accumulation, and strictly follow preventive measures against dengue.
