ISLAMABAD, July 20: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to addressing the political, economic, and security challenges facing Balochistan, stressing that sustainable development and lasting peace remain key national priorities.
Speaking at a meeting with political leaders and stakeholders, Dar said the federal government is working closely with the Balochistan government to improve governance, strengthen public services, and accelerate development projects across the province.
He emphasized that ensuring peace, creating employment opportunities, and investing in infrastructure, education, and healthcare are essential for the province’s long-term progress. Dar added that the government is determined to resolve issues through dialogue, cooperation, and constitutional means.
The deputy prime minister also highlighted the importance of national unity and urged all stakeholders to work together to counter terrorism, promote stability, and safeguard the country’s development agenda.
Reiterating the government’s resolve, Dar said Balochistan’s peace and prosperity are vital to Pakistan’s overall progress, assuring that all available resources would be utilized to address the province’s longstanding challenges.
