Decision to Launch Free Cancer Screening for Children

A major initiative has been announced by the government of Pakistan for the prevention of cancer.

‎A delegation from Europe’s largest cancer research center met with Federal Health Minister Syed Mustafa Kamal.

‎The delegation, led by renowned global cancer specialist Dr. Stephen Festa, comprising doctors and researchers, announced that they will conduct free cancer screening for children in Pakistan for one year using the latest technology to help in early detection and prevention.

‎On this occasion, Federal Health Minister Mustafa Kamal stated that very soon, free cancer screening for children will be launched across the country using advanced technology.

‎He further said that Pakistani pathologists will also be provided training in this regard.
