Encroachments have been uncovered in the hostels of public medical colleges and teaching hospitals.

‎Orders have been issued to remove unrelated doctors and individuals from the hostels of teaching hospitals and colleges. The lack of hostel accommodation for postgraduate trainee doctors and house officers has become a serious issue. For a long time, unrelated individuals have been occupying hostel rooms.

‎The Specialized Healthcare Department has sent a letter to vice chancellors, principals, and medical superintendents. Following a notice taken by the Provincial Ombudsman, the Specialized Healthcare Department has also become active.

‎The department stated that unrelated individuals should be immediately removed from the hostels, illegal occupation should be ended at once, and accommodation should be provided to the rightful occupants.
