Geneva – On the sidelines of the 78th World Health Assembly, Federal Health Minister Syed Mustafa Kamal held a significant meeting with the Chinese Health Minister. The discussions focused on expanding bilateral cooperation in the health sector, local production of vaccines and medicines, and integration of traditional and modern medical technologies.
Minister Kamal emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to reducing dependency on imports and strengthening the domestic healthcare system. Both sides agreed to share experiences and intensify collaborative efforts in public health.
Calling the Pak-China friendship “the heartbeat of both nations,” Kamal highlighted the deep-rooted public ties between the two countries. According to the Health Ministry’s spokesperson, the Prime Minister’s directives on healthcare reforms are actively being implemented to modernize the system.
