The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has expanded the Sehat Card Plus program by including four more complex and costly medical treatments free of charge. Under the updated program, liver, kidney, and bone marrow transplants, as well as the installation of hearing aids, will now be provided at no cost.

‎‎According to Advisor on Information, Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif, the provincial government under Founding Chairman has taken another significant step for public welfare. He also announced that a pilot project for OPD (Outpatient Department) services will soon be launched in Mardan.

‎‎Through the Sehat Card Plus, free healthcare services are currently being provided to 10.6 million people across the province. So far, over 4.2 million individuals have benefited from the program, with expenditures exceeding Rs. 128 billion.

‎Barrister Saif stated that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa residents are receiving free treatment at 753 hospitals across the country listed on the Sehat Card panel. He added that, in line with the vision of the founding chairman, more treatments will soon be included in the program.
