The Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) at FUUAST, Abdul Haq Campus, in collaboration with Sundus Foundation, organized a blood donation campaign titled “Gift for Life – Donate Blood.” The event aimed to raise awareness about the importance of voluntary blood donation and to motivate students, faculty, and staff to contribute toward saving lives.
Dr. Sheeba Farhan, Research Manager (ORIC) from the Department of Psychology, and Dr. Abdul Malik from the Department of Social Work, led the initiative, emphasizing that regular blood donation is a noble act that supports children suffering from thalassemia.
A large number of students and faculty members actively participated, demonstrating the university’s strong commitment to humanitarian service and community welfare. The event concluded with appreciation for donors and volunteers, as organizers expressed gratitude for their compassionate support in making the drive a success.
