ISLAMABAD, Oct 2: The government has launched new youth empowerment initiatives under the Prime Minister’s Youth Program, focusing on digital innovation and skills development.
Chairman Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan announced that the recently introduced “Digital Youth Hub” portal has already registered over 600,000 young people nationwide, offering access to training, career counseling, and entrepreneurial resources.
Khan said empowering youth is central to Pakistan’s economic growth, stressing the importance of equipping them with modern skills to strengthen their role in the workforce and global markets.
He also urged stronger collaboration between the government, academia, and private sector to establish a robust skills-based education system. “The future of Pakistan lies in the hands of its youth. Investing in their skills means investing in the nation’s prosperity,” he added.
