The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council has issued new guidelines for students seeking admission to medical and dental institutions abroad.
According to the PMDC, obtaining at least 50 percent marks in MDCAT or passing an equivalent examination from abroad has been made mandatory.
Passing FSc Pre Medical or an equivalent examination with at least 60 percent marks has also been declared compulsory.
The PMDC directed that all students seeking admission to foreign institutions must strictly comply with the prescribed criteria.
