A fierce gunfight broke out between the police and armed robbers near Patang Chowk in the Pakistan Bazaar police station area of District West.
As a result of the exchange of fire, three robbers were arrested, including one who sustained gunshot wounds. The injured suspect has been identified as Imran, son of Zubair, while the other two arrested suspects, Raheel and Bilal, were taken into custody without any injuries.
The police recovered two illegal pistols along with ammunition, spent cartridges, mobile phones, and cash from the possession of the suspects.
The robbers’ motorcycle has also been seized, and further details are being collected.
The injured suspect has been shifted to the hospital for medical treatment, while the other two suspects are being taken to the police station. Legal action is being taken against the arrested individuals, and their previous criminal records are being checked.
