Federal Health Minister Mustafa Kamal met with Indonesia’s Health Minister in Geneva, where both sides discussed matters of mutual interest in the health sector.
During the meeting, the two countries agreed to further strengthen cooperation in the field of healthcare. Discussions were also held on the progress and ongoing efforts related to local vaccine production in Pakistan.
Federal Health Minister Mustafa Kamal said that local vaccine manufacturing in Pakistan is essential and that Indonesia is Pakistan’s leading partner in efforts to develop vaccine production capabilities within the country.
He said that Pakistan wants to benefit from Indonesia’s advanced technology and experience in the healthcare sector.
The Indonesian Health Minister stated that his country would provide every possible support in vaccine manufacturing cooperation and capacity building. He added that both countries would work together to ensure the provision of modern, high quality, and effective healthcare services.
