ISLAMABAD: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has opened applications for the Kuwait University Language Teaching Center Scholarship 2026–27, offering Pakistani and Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) students an opportunity to study Arabic language at Kuwait University under a fully funded program.
According to HEC, the scholarship is being offered through its Learning Opportunities Abroad program and is aimed at students seeking to enhance their Arabic language skills in an academic environment. The program will be conducted at the Language Teaching Center of Kuwait University and is expected to cover the first, second, and summer semesters of the 2026–27 academic year.
Applicants must be Pakistani or AJK nationals, aged between 18 and 25 years, and have completed HSSC or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution. Dual nationality holders are not eligible to apply. Selection will be based on academic merit, with rankings determined by marks obtained in HSSC, FA, FSc, or equivalent examinations.
HEC stated that Pakistan has been allocated two scholarship seats—one for a male student and one for a female student. The academic session is scheduled to begin on September 13, 2026, while the deadline for online applications is June 12, 2026. Interested candidates must apply through the HEC online scholarship portal.
The commission advised students to complete their applications well before the deadline and ensure that all personal and academic information is entered accurately to avoid disqualification.
