Increase in the Number of Monkeypox Patients Reported in Bahawalpur

The number of patients affected by the monkeypox virus is increasing in the city.

‎Following the confirmation of monkeypox in two more individuals at Bahawal Victoria Hospital, the number of admitted patients has risen to four.

‎Of the four monkeypox patients, two belong to the same family, while the remaining two are from different families.

‎All four patients have been shifted to the isolation ward of Bahawal Victoria Hospital. Samples of their family members are also being collected to monitor the spread of the virus.
