India’s most popular and highest-paid TV host Kapil Sharma has once again made headlines with his return in The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 3, and his per-episode fee of ₹5 crore is a major reason for all the buzz.
According to Geo News, the third season of the comedy show premiered on June 21, 2025, and features the return of Navjot Singh Sidhu alongside Archana Puran Singh. While the show is known for its celebrity appearances and humor, the spotlight is now on Kapil Sharma’s massive income.
Reports reveal that Kapil Sharma continues to charge ₹5 crore per episode, just as he did during the first and second seasons. For Season 1, he earned ₹65 crore for 13 episodes, and he reportedly earned the same amount for Season 2.
If this rate continues for Season 3, Kapil’s total earnings over all three seasons will hit a staggering ₹195 crore.
Kapil Sharma began his comedy journey in 2013 with ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’, and later hosted ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ from 2016 to 2023.
