A three year old child residing in Orangi Town, Karachi, has been diagnosed with HIV.
According to the report, the child tested positive for HIV on three different testing kits.
The child’s parents stated that the child had received treatment at Valika Hospital, after which the child’s health began to deteriorate. They said that when the child was tested for HIV, the result came back positive.
It is worth noting that a total of 107 children in Orangi Town have so far been affected by HIV, while the number of deaths among HIV infected children in Zia Colony has reached nine.
