Karachi: Decision to Launch Special Polio Booster Campaign in 89 Union Councils from May 12

‎A decision has been made to launch a special polio booster campaign in 89 union councils of Karachi from May 12.

‎According to the EOC Sindh, children up to 10 years of age will be administered polio prevention drops during the booster campaign.

‎EOC Sindh stated that the special polio booster campaign will continue from May 12 to May 25.

‎The campaign will be carried out in those union councils where the presence of the polio virus has been detected in sewage samples.

‎According to EOC Sindh, a target has been set to administer polio prevention drops to 1.8 million children in 89 union councils of Karachi.

‎EOC Sindh also stated that polio drops will be administered to children by setting up camps, including in schools.
