Karachi: Five-Storey Building Collapses in Lyari, Several Injured

A five-storey residential building collapsed in the Lyari area of Karachi. So far, five injured people have been rescued from the debris, while more people are feared to be trapped. Rescue operations are currently underway.

Rescue teams, police, and Rangers reached the site immediately after the incident.

Heavy machinery has been brought in to clear the rubble, and local residents are also helping in the rescue efforts.

Eyewitnesses said that several families were living in the building and its condition was already poor.

Authorities have cordoned off the area and requested citizens not to interfere with the rescue operations.
