Karachi Police arrested 681 suspects during various operations carried out across the city over the past week, officials said.
According to a spokesperson for Karachi Police, a large quantity of narcotics was recovered from the arrested suspects, including 38 kilograms and 567 grams of hashish worth millions of rupees, along with ice, crystal, and heroin.
The spokesperson added that hundreds of kilograms of gutka and mawa were also seized during the operations. In addition, police recovered 122 pieces of illegal weapons along with ammunition from the suspects.
During the same period, police also recovered 27 motorcycles and two vehicles. Officials stated that police operations will continue across the city until the last criminal element is brought to justice.
