An 18-year-old shopkeeper was killed after his throat was slit during an argument over the repayment of a loan in Kasur’s Iqbal Nagar area.
According to Rescue 1122 officials, the victim, identified as Haroon Masih, ran a small grocery shop in the neighborhood. The suspect, identified as Taman, allegedly attacked him with a knife after being asked to return borrowed money, resulting in fatal injuries.
The victim succumbed to his wounds before he could receive medical assistance. Police have launched an investigation and are taking steps to apprehend the accused.
