Karachi, September 7, 2025 — A police constable sustained minor injuries during an operation near Nagan Chowrangi in North Karachi within the jurisdiction of Shahrah-e-Noor Jahan police station.
According to SSP Central’s spokesperson, Zeeshan Shafiq Siddiqui, police personnel signaled two suspects on a motorcycle to stop. When they attempted to flee, law enforcers swiftly intervened and arrested them.
During the pursuit, 28-year-old Constable Tanveer Khan, son of Muhammad Akbar Khan and bearing belt number 49382, fell to the ground and suffered minor abrasions on different parts of his body. He was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital where he received first aid.
Police confirmed that the suspects are in custody and further investigation is underway
