Advisor to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government, Muzamil Aslam, has issued an important statement regarding the notification of the release of Sehat Card funds.
According to Muzamil Aslam, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Suhail Afridi received a briefing on the Sehat Card Plus program and issued immediate directives to release Rs 3 billion for the Sehat Card.
He said that acting promptly on the Chief Minister’s orders, the Finance Department has issued the funds release notification. The Health Department remains the top priority under the vision of the founding PTI government.
Muzamil Aslam stated that former Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur restored the Sehat Card Plus facility for the public immediately after taking oath. Compared to Rs 36 billion in the previous year, the Finance Department has released Rs 9.65 billion in the first four months of this year.
The KP government advisor further said that the founding PTI leader’s vision of “healthcare for all and free treatment” will continue.
