Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has said that currently 14 stroke management centers are operational across the province.
In her statement, the Chief Minister said that work is underway to establish modern stroke management centers in every district of Punjab so that stroke patients can be provided immediate and quality medical facilities.
According to the spokesperson for the Stroke Management Program, four individuals, including a woman, suffered stroke attacks in Lahore during Eid ul Fitr; however, their lives were saved due to timely medical assistance.
The spokesperson stated that the affected patients were immediately shifted to an emergency stroke management center where prompt treatment was ensured.
The spokesperson added that the timely arrival of patients at the hospital proved decisive in effective treatment and saving their lives.
