LAHORE – Sherakot Police arrested a man accused of sexually assaulting his minor stepdaughter in Sodiwal.
According to reports, the suspect, identified as Abdullah, had married a woman named Asma, who was living in Karim Street with her daughter from a previous marriage. Police said Abdullah repeatedly assaulted the girl and threatened to kill her if she informed her mother.
SP Iqbal Town Dr. Muhammad Umar confirmed that a case was registered on the complaint of the suspect’s wife and that the accused was promptly taken into custody. He added that further investigation is underway, stressing that crimes against women and children will not be tolerated.
