Two more cases of monkeypox have been reported in Lahore, with the virus confirmed in two 22 year old women. The total number of cases in the city has now reached 54.
Both patients have been admitted to Mayo Hospital, where they are currently receiving treatment. According to medical experts, the monkeypox cases reported in Lahore are locally transmitted, and the affected individuals have no history of foreign travel.
Experts stated that the total number of cases in the city has risen to 54. They have advised citizens to immediately isolate themselves and seek medical consultation if they develop a high fever and rashes on the body.
