A team of the Sindh Healthcare Commission carried out a crackdown against quack doctors, illegal clinics, and laboratories in Qambar, sealing several facilities.
According to the Sindh Healthcare Commission, during the operations four illegal clinics and one laboratory were sealed, while legal action was taken against two quack doctors and one untrained laboratory operator.
Authorities stated that cases have been registered at B-Section Police Station against quack doctors Hafeezullah Bhatti and Ameer Ali Lashari.
The Assistant Director of the Sindh Healthcare Commission said the individuals were illegally providing medical treatment and endangering human lives, due to which strict legal action was taken against them.
During the operation, syringes, medicines, and other medical equipment were also recovered from the possession of the arrested quack doctors.
The Sindh Healthcare Commission clarified that operations against illegal medical centers and quack doctors will continue across the province to ensure the protection of citizens’ lives and property.
