Kashmore: Sindh Rangers and Police conducted a joint operation in the Durrani Mehr police station jurisdiction of Kashmore district, successfully rescuing Constable Safdar Muhammad who had been kidnapped for ransom by the notorious Khadim Bheo gang.
According to a Sindh Rangers spokesperson, on September 20, 2025, members of the Khadim Bheo gang abducted Constable Safdar Muhammad from the Qambarani Laro police picket during duty and later released a video of him on social media.
The Rangers and police launched a coordinated operation against the gang, leading to a fierce gun battle. Three suspects — Sohbat Jagirani, Shahid Bheo, and Shafiq Dhani — were killed in the encounter, while nine others, including Khadim Bheo, Wajid Bheo, and Malik Jagirani, were injured.
Authorities confirmed that Sohbat Jagirani carried a head money of Rs. 500,000, while Khadim Bheo had a bounty of Rs. 1 million. The gang’s hideout was also demolished during the operation.
