KARACHI – A man was killed and a young woman injured in a shooting incident that took place inside a residence in Al-Haider Society, located near Drug Road in Shah Faisal Colony.
According to Shah Faisal Colony police, the deceased was identified as 26-year-old Irteza Ali, son of Muzaffar Ali. His body was transported to Jinnah Hospital by volunteers from the Chhipa Welfare Association for legal formalities. The injured woman, 18-year-old Aiman, daughter of Iftikhar Shah, is currently receiving medical treatment.
Head Moharrar Usman Shakir of Shah Faisal Police Station stated that preliminary findings suggest the injured woman was married to the deceased. Irteza had reportedly come to visit her when the shooting occurred inside the house.
Police officials are in contact with the family to gather further details, which are expected to clarify the circumstances surrounding the incident.
